249. Pale purple flowers sometimes marked with yellow. Flowers single on a stalk attached at the junction of the leaf and the stem. March-May
The upper leaves are nearly even, there may be a few shallow teeth. The stipules at the base of the leaf look like notched leaves.
Small branching plant. 4-10 in.
